Music Medicine: Sound at a Cellular Level

This talk in the TEDx Collingwood series focuses on how the rhythmic nature of music and sound stimulates a response in the body and brain of people. It shows how specifically targeted frequencies can be used to effect a change in brain rhythms and to correct brain dysrhythmias involved in major health conditions including Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, Fibromyalgia, Major Depression, and others. The talk is supported with reference to recent research studies.
